Become a member of OCBA!
Our mission is to educate and connect you with others who share a passion for beekeeping.
Oldham County Beekeepers Association (OCBA) is proud to support a vibrant and growing community of beekeepers, nature lovers, and pollinator advocates. Whether you’re a seasoned apiarist with decades of experience or just beginning your journey with bees, our association is here to promote responsible beekeeping practices, educate new and experienced beekeepers, and help beekeepers be successful with their bees.

Membership Highlights
We generally meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. The only months we do not meet are those that have field days scheduled. Each year, the club brings in experienced presenters for seasonally-appropriate topics; we schedule field days that are hosted at our members’ apiaries; and we also attend county-wide events to build community involvement.
We focus heavily on education, offer resources for the new beekeeper and strive to get proven genetics into the area. And, we have lots of fun! We look forward to meeting you wherever you are on your beekeeping journey.
