Thank you for considering joining the Oldham County Beekeepers Association! We want you to experience everything the club has to offer. We pride ourselves on promoting beekeeping practices that lead to the success of our members and local beekeepers!
We generally meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. The only months we do not meet are those that have field days scheduled. Each year, the club brings in experienced presenters for seasonally-appropriate topics; we schedule field days that are hosted at our members’ apiaries; and we also attend county-wide events to build community involvement.
We focus heavily on education, offer resources for the new beekeeper and
strive to get proven genetics into the area. And, we have lots of fun! We look forward to meeting you wherever you are on your beekeeping journey.
