Why We Buzz: Our Purpose
Hello and welcome to the official website of the Oldham County Beekeepers Association! We are thrilled to have you join us on a journey into the fascinating world of beekeeping. Our association exists to bring together bee enthusiasts, both seasoned and new, to promote the well-being of these incredible pollinators and the vital role they play in our environment.

Our Mission: Nurturing Bees, Cultivating Change
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to the preservation and cultivation of Kentucky’s bee populations. Bees are an important resource, responsible for pollinating crops that make up a significant portion of our food supply. By fostering a community of beekeepers in our group and across the state of Kentucky, we strive to educate, support, and cultivate apiaries where bees can thrive, ensuring the continuation of healthy ecosystems and bountiful harvests.
