We are going to have our OCBA Field Day at Don Chesak’s beautiful farm and apiary. We will be in the apiary so you will need a veil/jacket. For our field day we will be going over equipment, protective gear, and we will have a presentation on how to calibrate a honey refractometer so that we can make sure our honey is at the right moisture content and won’t ferment!
There will be a potluck after so bring a drink, a chair, and a side to share. The club will cook up some hotdogs on the grill.
Time: 10AM until noon
Take the driveway on the left and follow the mulched road to the back.
If there is rain we will move to our rain date.
