We are a friendly beekeeping group located in Oldham County, Kentucky. We educate and support local beekeepers through in-person and online education, community involvement, and sales opportunities. We welcome anyone interested in bees and encourage you to come join the fun.

This is aruguably the best meeting of the year! Join us for our last OCBA meeting of the year as we enjoy some wonderful food, good company, and share stories. We will be announcing our Beekeeper of the Year and wrapping up any outstanding business. More information will be coming but this is not a meeting to miss! - In-person meetings with a variety of interesting topics taught by experienced club members and guest speakers.
- Continued support with both a private (members only) and public Facebook groups.
- Stay connected with opportunities for further education.

- Colonies in starvation can appear queenless.
- Generally, too late to mate queens. Hives are effectively droneless.
- Last chance for combines.
- Make sure stores are plentiful, 5-7 deep frames of honey or the equivalent.
- Feeding may be required, but be careful
